Topical Antiseptic Ointment
As long as Yodex remains in contact with body tissues in minor cuts, wounds and abrasions, the iodine gradually separates from the molecule of the carrier and inhibits the growth and action of bacteria and promotes healing.
Uses: Helps prevent skin infection in minor cuts, wounds and abrasions.
Directions: Cleanse affected area with mild soap and warm water and rinse thoroughly. Apply product and rub until color disappears. If area is too tender, apply freely and cover with a light loose bandage.
Active Ingredient / Purpose
Iodine, 2% / Topical Antiseptic
Inactive Ingredients: Oleic Acid, Paraffin, Petrolatum
Warning: For external use only. Ask a doctor before use if you have deep puncture wounds, animal bites or serious burns. When using this product, do not apply to large areas of the body. Do not use tight or heavy air-excluding bandage. Do not get into eyes or mucous membranes.
Stop use and ask a doctor if the redness, irritation, swelling or pain persists or gets worse, an infection occurs, or the condition does not improve within 7 days.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
