I was taking 20 mg lutein but recently bumped it up to 40 mg so I'm glad this is available.

There is nothing that I dislike about Lutine. Until recently I had never heard of it. I've been battling glaucoma for about 3.5 yrs now. Had been to an ophthalmologist, had been to retinologist, all they did is prescribed eye drops and nothing was improving. So I took matters to my own hands and started relying on natural herbal type medication. By taking 40 mg 2X/day of the lutine along with a combination of herbs in stuff called NEUROPTENE 1 capsule,2X/day, which has bilberry, grape seed extract, and several other herbs, along with 240MG 2X/day of Ginkgo Biloba all of them designed to help relieve the pressure in the eyes that causes the glaucoma. That combined with a new type of eye drops that was prescribed by my ophthalmologist. I'm putting down the dosage of what I take simply because this combination works for me. For anyone else, you'll have to experiment with it and see what works for you.
