N-acetyl-l-cysteine and alpha lipoic acid are antioxidants that raise tissue glutathione levels. Curcumin and silymarin have been shown to bolster phase II detox enzymes, support glutathione synthesis, and reinforce gut, colon, and liver cell functions. Sulforaphane, from broccoli sprout extract, is recognized as one of the most potent inducers of phase II enzymes and also aids in preserving healthy colon cells.
